In conjunction with the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), CCCS of NE PA is proud to announce the beginning of our annual poster contest. This year’s theme is “Be Money Wi$e – I’m going to be a millionaire because I… “. High school students in grades 9 through 12 are eligible. Local prizes will be awarded. The local winning poster will be sent to the NFCC Headquarters in Silver Spring, MD to be judged on a national level. The National overall winner will receive an award plaque, a $500 savings bond, and an all-expense paid trip (includes travel, lodging, and meals) with a parent or guardian to Washington, DC to be presented with their national award. Deadline for posters to be received in our Main Office in Pittston for local judging is Feb. 13, 2009. At the end of July, CCCS launched its newly designed and fully featured website. Features have been added such as Live Chat with Counselors, Downloadable Worksheets and Guides, a Payment Center, an Online Application to enroll in the Debt Management Program, and an Online Financial Management Education Program!
